Oil Tank Products

At Tollesbury Tanks we always supply high quality steel domestic fuel tanks, that conform to legal requirements.

Steel Tanks

We only use steel tanks because:

  • Steel tanks will last between 20 and 30 years if properly maintained.
  • Plastic tanks have a shorter life-spans as the weather makes them brittle.
  • Fuel theft is more difficult with steel has the skin of the tank is harder to penetrate.
  • Plastic tanks are only available with one or two variations, but steel tanks can be custom built to meet specific site requirements.

We ensure the all tanks we supply meet the following legal requirements:

  • OFTEC recommendations / standards. Please see OFTEC website for more information.
  • Control of Pollution (England) (Oil Storage) 2001 / SI2954 regulations. Please see http://www.legislation.gov.uk for more information.
  • Built and pressure tested in the UK by people that care.
  • Installation is covered under the Competent Persons Scheme.
